Lately

We have been soaking up every minute of little Marlee. She is so dang sweet. We absolute adore her. I think we could stare at her forever. She is starting to smile lots which is so fun. So now she eats, sleeps, poops, toots, and smiles:) Everywhere we go people want to see her and tell her how beautiful she is. We lovelovelovelovelovelove her!! Here is what she has been up to in the last 7 weeks. Swimming,Hunting,Smiling, Bathing, Churching,Bubbling,Posing,Strolling, and we are all Loving it! We love being a little family. So precious and fun.

 

Our sweet little Firecracker arrives

Marlee Lynn Hughes was born July 4, 2012 @ 1:04pm. Our sweet little baby girl weighed 6lbs 1 oz and was 19 in long. She had tons of hair and was so cute and tiny.It was the best day ever and every new day with her just gets better and better. She is absolutely the most perfect,precious,beautiful little girl we have ever seen. Ryan and I can't stop staring at her. We are either laughing or crying because we love her so so much. Marlee is the most amazing blessing. I was going to write more in detail about my water breaking at 1am, my epidural not working, all the wonderful visitors, watching the fireworks, my wonderful nurses, her long toes like auntie Amber, the grandkids petting her hair, her 5ft poops, naming her after our grandmas, her grunting and smiles...but all I can think or say is She is such a Miracle. I get so choked up. She is so precious and perfect.  ...We love our little Miracle Marlee forever and ever.

BaBy BaBy Baby

It has been so fun getting ready for baby Marlee to arrive. We finished all our shows, so the countdown has begun. Jenna and my mom gave me the best baby shower ever. It was so fun to see all my friends and family. Marlee and I definetly got spoiled!! Ryan and I celebrated our Anniversary a few months late so we called it our BabyMoon( last vacation before kids). It was so fun. We went down to Vegas saw Jersey Boys, ate some good food, caught a guy collecting(stealing) coins in the fountain, relaxed at the pool, and of course did some last minute shopping for the baby. It has been so fun feeling her kick and move inside my big ole belly:) Ry and I celebrated our first Mother's and Father's day which was a fun treat. We cannot wait to hold our little girl in our arms. 3 more weeks till due date. Hurry baby Marlee come out and play!!

Triathlon Man

Ry has been rockin the Triathlon circuit. He has done the Rage in Vegas, St. George Tri, and the Summer games Tri. I'm so proud of him. It is so fun to watch and cheer him on. I can say that I cant wait to get back out training with him. Marlee and I have enjoyed the sidelines:) The best part of the Traithlons is that the family does them together.It is so great to watch Cliff,Cody,Adam, and friends all finish strong!!

Back East

We took our final flight before the baby comes and it was so worth it!! We went to Connenticut to visit my brother Rod and his girls. Yes he now has 4 beautiful girls!Little Clara is now 7 weeks old. It was so fun being there with them. The girls had us laughing the whole time especially little Jayda that girl has personality!!We were able to eat some of Freddys famous pizza, visit Yale, play on the beach, paint Easter eggs, practice baseball, and of course laugh our heads off!!Ryan celebrated his 32nd birthday while we were out there so we went into New York for a day. We were able to catch the opening day baseball game of Met vs. Braves. It was so cool. Our favorite Idol Heejun was also there singing:) After the game we hit up Wall Street, Canal Street, and of course Time Square. It was a great day to be in the NYC. Little Marlee was kicking the whole time on our vacation. She is such a happy traveling baby!! It was such a fun trip back east. We flew home and had a birthday bash with Ry's fam to top it off!! Hope you had a good # 32 Babe. Marlee and I love you so much!

Cubbies

Ryan is the Cubmaster and I am his assistant. We really enjoy our calling and have had a lot of fun these past couple months. We had the big Blue and Gold Birthday Party. The Cubs enjoyed pizza, cake and a few guest speakers:). Last Month we had the big Pinewood Derby. The cubs did awesome!! The cars were fast this yr. We only had 6 compete so they all went home with a trophy so fun!! We feel so lucky to have such a good group of cubs, leaders, and parents in the Coral Canyon 1st ward!

Family Fun

We were able to go with the Hughes family for a getaway in Midway. It was such a blast. We stayed at Howie's uncles cabin. It was so nice!! He has a huge natural hot spring in his backyard that everyone went swimming in at 10pm in the freezing cold!! We were able to go snow tubing, make snow angels, hit some local hot spots, and have lots of laughs. It was so fun and Im glad Ryan didnt get injured on his sled jumps:).
We also recently had a show up in Seattle. It was just a 3 day show so we turned it into a little vacation and visit with my dad. We traveled up to Canada and had a good lunch at the Canadian Red Robin:). We had a fun time visiting and doing the Remodling Expo.
