Angels Landing

First time for both of us! We hiked clear to the tip top. It was breath taking. Really a great adventure!!!

Europe here we come!!

We were lucky enough to travel to Europe once again for work. Ryan and I decided to go on a cruise in Greece before we started work in Germany. The plane ride was a little long especially for Ry he had eight kids sitting in his lap and their mother drooling while he was trying to sleep. After 17hrs of flying we finally made it to Greece and were beyond excited to go on our first cruise. We were so excited we slept through breakfast and lunch and basically everytime we sat down it was hilarious.People must of thought we were senior citizens(jk my grandma used to fall asleep everytime she sat down). The first stop was Mykones it was a beautiful city all of the buildings were white just like you see in the movies. We loved the pink pelicans and little Venice. I forgot to mention we stopped in Amsterdam on the plane ride over quite the city!Lots of Bikes,Pot shops, mayonaise, historic buildings, clogs and flowers. The second stop on the cruise was in Turkey one of our favorites. We walked through Ephesus (this is where Paul delievered his message to the Ephesians) it was so neat. We had an awesome taxi driver who told us a lot of history and loved Utah he was cracking us up. While in Turkey someone was trying to sale us a million dollar rug and they thought we really might buy it.crazy. Patamos was our next destination. It was a beautiful day we rode tug boats onto the island. Patamos is the place where John wrote the book of Revelations in the cave. We went inside the cave and also visited St. Johns monestary. Crete was the next morning. It was pretty rainy we didn't do much but we did expolore the city center. Our favorite place was the last day Santorini!! It is on the top of the island we rode cable cars to the top.We really enjoyed the little city even though it was raining did I mentioned we walked down and Ryan slipped in the donkey poop(super funny but not at the time:). We loved our first cruise. We will never forget our trip to the greek islands. Before getting back on the plane to Germany we were able to explore Athens which was Sweet! Working in Germany was awesome! The people were so nice and helpful on the militarty base. The hotel we stayed in was so nice and in the same building as the BX. Sales were great so we also were able to sight see in Munich and Germany's Disneyland Castle Neutshwasein. It was such an amazing trip we are so grateful for the awesome adventure!!

Christmas 2010

We Celebrated Christmas everywhere!! It started in OC where we did our Christmas a week early. Mindy got her new motorcycle vroom vroom. After our early Christmas we headed to St. George for a fun shin-dig at Rod's with all the kiddos. We had pigs in a blanket then for the main course organic lasanga. Even the hair in the lasagna was organic :) Then we were off to Seattle for a Christmas at Poppa Stu's and Bobby's. We opened presents with Alice and little Ella. They were so cute. Our final Christmas stop ended in Mesquite for a big Hughes Party!! It was so nice to be able to see everyone this Holiday season. It was so fun to be in the rain with little Alice and Ella. Alice saw Santa and the reindeer(who were really cute). It was so fun to giggle with Bobby and Molly Christmas morning. I was able to make some yummy breakfast and suprise Ry with his Tragaer!! We have such great families and we are so blessed. To cap off our trip we went to Buck's wedding...good work Buck! Then we spent new years with Beau and Jamie enjoying some Texas Roadhouse and Menchies!

First Timers

We had a few Firsts recently. First time for Fondue. It was delicious I got a groupon for half off so we enjoyed a real Fondue Feast. The campfire Fodue was defintely the best part. Since Duke has turned into a city indoor dog(poor dog). He had his First pampered dog bath by Ryan and I at the dog palor. He loved it!Since he has moved indoors he snores quit a bit. I'm pretty sure I heard him snore during the bath. Silly Duke.We took Gabby to here First college ball game and guess who we watched BYU. She is so cute she wanted to shoot hoops with Ry during half time. Good times! Last but not least I attended my First Laker game. It was awesome. Our seats were in the nosebleeds but somehow we found ourselves right behind the basket wooo! It was such a blast being at the Lake Show.

San Fran Fun!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We were able to go to Amber and Howie's place for Tday. It was such a blast. Everybody took a road trip to San Fran on Wed. Ry and I left a day early so we could stop and explore Yosemite, but it ended up being closed after we bought snow chains and all.(the people at the bottom of the mtn said it was open and at the top they said closed). We were pretty bummed, but once we met up with the Fam it was non-stop fun. We baked pies, walked Pier 39,zigzagged Lomardi St,drove across Golden Gate Bridge, said hello to the seven ladies, toured Alcatraz, ate some turkey and Ambers homemade rolls(yum),enjoyed sourdough from Boudini, played angry birds, saw Tangled, giggled at Collin and Kenz, celebrated Cliff's Bday and drove home on the PCH (beautiful and long)! It was such a treat to all be together. So so grateful for the Fam!! Howie and Amber were the best hosts ever( Thanks guys)!! Love them!!What an awesome Thanksgiving and we didnt even have Football.
