Christmas

Christmas was so fun this year. We started off the season with our favorite tradition cutting down a real tree. Dad did most of the work. Marlee enjoyed the snow and the razor ride. Thank heavens for the razor. We ended the day by going to the temple and seeing the nativity and all the beautiful lights.









We had our first Christmas party at the gym. It was a blast. Everyone wore an ugly sweater, enjoyed delicious food, stuffed their faces with marshmallows, and sang a few Christmas carols;)








We were able to enjoy my family Christmas party at Grandma Cindy's. It was so fun. Always so special to be with everyone. Sad I didn't get any pics. The Hughes Christmas party was such a great time. Marlee wasn't a huge fan of Santa but everything else was awesome.
Christmas Eve we decided to head to Cody and Amy's so we wouldn't miss out on any of the family fun. I was nervous about it because I was dialated to a 3 and Vegas was not close to my Dr. I'm glad we went and I'm glad I didn't go into labor. We had such a great time. All the cousins were so cute together. Marlee loved opening her presents. Her favorite gifts were her Dora four wheeler, squeaky shoes, stroller, and slinky. At first she was scared riding her four wheeler now she is a wild woman on it. It was such a joy watching her this year. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. Ryan got an AR-15 from Santa. I got everything on my list except the baby;). 2013 Christmas was wonderful. We are truly blessed!!

Fall is here...

We have been loving being in Mesquite and owning our Crossfit Box.


It is so fun to help people and see their faces everyday whether it be at 5 am or 6 pm. We were able to do a fundraiser for Ethan which was amazing. We ended up raising 600$ for the little courageous cancer fighter in one hour.


We are continue to grow in numbers and hope to keep expanding.
Marlee is non-stop fun. She likes to run everywhere she goes. She loves being outside,


dancing,crossfitting,
bathing,


kissing, hugging and is an absolute joy. Her new favorite thing is to sing. We started singing out of the children's songbook and every since then everything turns into a song. Cutest thing ever.


Marlee is getting close to becoming a big sister. She is going to be a great sister. Halloween was a blast.


We as a family dressed up as the Flintstones. We had a contest at the gym . Ryan was Richard Simmons is was a crack up.


Did I mention Marlee loves candy.


She also can do piggys,


loves giving knuckles and fives!;)We are so excited for the holidays and to meet our baby girl #2.

What's been happening

We have been loving life in Mesquite. Marlee seems to have turned into a little girl overnight. She walk/runs everywhere. She loves being outside and having full conversations.


She turned into a vampire with her new fangs and runs the show at Tough Country Crossfit.



She has no fear at the park or any where. She loves going down the slide all by herself.




Every night she reads stories with mom and loves giving mommy and daddy big juicy kisses. Marlee even kisses her baby sister and blows toots on her. It is the cutest thing in the world. She is such a sweet sweet girl don't know what we would do without her. Truly blessed.




My belly is getting big. We found out we are having another baby girl and our beyond excited!!




We are 6 months along and already counting down. Can't wait. It is so fun feeling her kick and hearing her heartbeat.




We have built Tough Country Crossfit up from scratch and it is so so awesome!! We love it! The community loves it and we are excited everyday to watch people progress and be apart of it. We are looking forward to what the next few months has to bring.

She turns 1

I can't believe our precious little Marlee is 1.








She is the sweetest, cutest, busiest, funniest, girl in the world.


She loves to crawl like a monkey at high speed. She loves the water. She loves to chat and yell occasionally.


She loves copying whatever her daddy does( especially the stink eye face, or loud toots).



She loves her family and dog duke unless he barks. She loves getting into everything especially toliet paper. She loves to eat pirates booty, strawberries, cottage cheese,teddy grahams, smoothies, water and cupcakes.




She loves playing with her toys and jumping on the bed. She loves her tubs and storytime .




We love our Marlee (boo,boo) girl so much!! She makes us laugh and smile all day long.




Her blue eyes, cheesy smiles , and story telling always makes everyone's day. She is such a delight and biggest blessing of our lives. For her birthday we had a Luau at Grandma Cindy's .








It was so fun. All of her family made it extra special. On her true birthday 7/4/13.




We tried to enjoy some fireworks with little success . Too loud.




Marlee is the sweetest most loveable fire cracker and we are so lucky to have her in our lives. HappyHappyBirthdayMarleeGirl!!

Summer Time

Summer has been good to us. Summer time is always my favorite time of year. We enjoyed living with Grandma Jackie , going to the lake,


and spending time with family and friends. Ry celebrated his first Father's Day with Marlee.



He also did another Sprint Triathlon with his buddy Josh.




Marlee had her first swimming lessons which she wasn't to sure about .




I celebrated my 29th birthday. Which turned into quite the party thanks to grandma Cindy( I have the best mama)!!




We attended the crossfit games in Salt Lake City which helped us decide what we wanted for our future




The most exciting thing about the whole summer is we found out we are going to have another baby. We are so blessed. It is still hard to believe. We are so excited that we get to have another precious miracle join the Hughes Crew. The baby is due to arrive Jan. 1, 2013. Another Holiday baby . I hope to have a baby on every holiday;)
